VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for COBOL Stored Procedure/Ab Initio/DB2 Deve for our USA operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Job Role & Skill Set: • Master Level COBOL/DB2 stored procedure specialist to manage Enterprise Level Applications in MVS platform • Master Level ETL Specialist to manage Enterprise-level AbIntio, DB2 and Teradata environments. • Candidate should have in-depth knowledge writing and managing scripts run in UNIX environments, full development lifecycle for AbInitio development, etc. • Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. • Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications. Usually includes experience in Ab Initio or other ETL products. • The environment needs the candidate to have an understanding and experience in DB2 Environment, DB2 Utilities, COBOL Stored procedures, Teradata development and Unix scripting. A bachelor's degree or above in MIS, Computer Science or related field. Skills Required • 5+ years Technology specific experience (multiple technologies) Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product. • Works independently • Data mapping experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) ETL(using Ab Initio) experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) • Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL project and team 5+ years experience in full life-cycle of data warehouse projects and Operational Data Stores • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels Experience with DB2 V8 or V9 on z/OS platform • COBOL and DB2 SQL coding experience on z/OS platform COBOL DB2 Stored Procedure coding experience on z/OS platform TSO/ISPF experience • ChangeMan software development experience • "US Citizens and green card holders shall be preferred".
